Tea & Food Pairing
Tea extends itself past the morning and afternoon cup into dinner, and of course, dessert. This workshop will demonstrate how to pair tea and chocolate/fruit/cheese. Chocolate and tea make for a perfect match in our book, and not just because we love the two, they share similar health benefits and flavor qualities including caffeine, flavonoids and tannins. We will sample teas that are compatible and complementary. You’ll learn to detect the similar flavor characteristics, thereby enhancing one another.
Classes are conducted by Eric and Lynnette Dodson, owner/operators of Cuples Tea House.
Workshop size is limited to ten participants. Registration is required.
